The Tinley Park Chamber regularly plans quality events that help members generate new business contacts, meet potential clients, and build relationships. Networking events include, but are not limited to: Business After Hours, Business Before Business, Speed Networking, Monthly Membership Meetings, Prospective New Member Nights, Ribbon Cuttings, and Multi-Chamber Events with other local Chambers.
The Tinley Park Chamber offers its members new and innovative ways to brand their businesses and market to a wide range of community and regional clients. The following are just a few opportunities members are encouraged to take advantage of:
- E-Newsletter – Our “News from Our Members” weekly emails are sent to over 1,200 contacts in and around the Tinley Park community. Add your Event, Chamber Special, or Seminar to the next Eblast to get the word out!
- Event Sponsorships – With a number of Chamber events held throughout the year, we offer opportunities to Market your business to hundreds and thousands of people through Sponsorships.
- Chamber Resource Guide – The Chamber produces an annual publication that is widely distributed in Tinley Park to residents, businesses, and visitors. As a Chamber member, your business is included in the Directory and under a Category Listing in this guide.
The Tinley Park Chamber website offers a free listing in the Member Directory, free email link, free URL link, 24-hour password-protected access, online registration, job posting capabilities, hot deal promotions, and email reminder services for all Chamber events and programs! In 2017, the Chamber will be launching a NEW Website, specifically structured to better benefit our members!
The Chamber Spotlight Cable Show
The Chamber of Commerce hosts The Chamber Spotlight, a 30-minute cable show which is aired on Tinley Park TV (Comcast Channel 4 and U-Verse Channel 99). Each program showcases three chamber members per show and is aired four times daily for an entire month, reaching over 58,000 households. Programs are pre-recorded one month in advance, and participation provides Chamber members a fantastic opportunity to promote upcoming events and/or highlight their business, Business After Hours,
The Tinley Park Chamber “Chamber Deal” is a promotional deal to help our members grow their customer base. We offer high value coupons that can be used like gift certificates at local businesses. You decide what the deal is, how much to offer it for, and when the deal will run; we will market the deal to Chamber Members through Eblasts and weekly announcements.
Whether you are celebrating opening a new business, or you’ve recently moved, remodeled, or changed ownership, we would love to set up a Ribbon Cutting! We will provide ceremonial scissors and a commemorative ribbon, provide each business owner with a dated & signed certificate, contact the Village and Board officials, bring in our Chamber Photographer for photos and invite local media.
Each week the chamber receives phone calls asking for referrals and information on Tinley Park businesses and organizations. We always refer our Chamber Members before any other business!
Conference Room Use
Chamber Members are welcome to use the meeting room located inside the Chamber Office. With seating for up to 20, the room is ideal for meetings, training, and other business functions.
Chamber Members can request a Spreadsheet of current Chamber Members and their Mailing Address at any point during the year as long as they are a Member in good standing.
