Farmers' Market This event is co-sponsored by the Oak Park Avenue Main street Association and the Tinley Park Chamber of Commerce and features fresh produce and craft items. The Market is held on Saturdays throughout the Summer and early Fall. Entertainment and craft shows are featured throughout the season. Shop by Bike The Village of Tinley Park has secured federal clean air funding to promote both cycling and local retail. Shop by Bike was developed to help build healthier local economies as well as healthier communities by encouraging Village residents to use their bicycles to make more local shopping trips. The Chicagoland Bicycle Federation (CBF) has developed a unique opportunity to promote local businesses with its Shop by Bike Route Map for Tinley Park. The map shows residents the names, locations, and safe & convenient bicycle routes to participating businesses. The business listings are FREE. Maps will be distributed at both of Tinley Park's primary retail areas, Oak Park Avenue and Harlem/159th Street. Maps will be mailed to Tinley Park residents as well.
