The Village of Tinley Park recognizes the positive economic impact
that small businesses have on a community such as ours. Small
business is the cornerstone of the economy, and has been a significant
catalyst in the economic growth of Tinley Park.
A number of programs are available to assist new and existing
businesses in Tinley Park.
The Low Interest Business Development Loan Program
is a public/private partnership between the Village and local
participating banks. It is designed to enable local businesses
to obtain advantageous financing for capital improvements to help
grow their businesses. The project must result in either an increase
in local tax revenues or an increase in employment opportunities
within the Village.
The Industrial/Commercial Commission, which
promotes its Shop Tinley theme through various campaigns.
The Tinley Park Chamber of Commerce works to
promote its members through advertising, community involvement
and recognition of businesses and business people throughout the
community at the annual awards dinner.
