The Vet Tech Institute of Fox College will be hosting our summer pet adoption event on Saturday, August 11th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The college would like to extend an invitation to local vendors who would like to participate in the event. There is no fee to participate, and we will provide tables and chairs.  Our hope to have as much foot traffic come in to the event, so all of our dogs, cats, rabbits, mice and rats will find their “forever” home.

This summer’s event theme is “Be a Hero”.  They animals will have superhero costumes, and we are hoping that everyone will find their “life long sidekick”.  Our students put so much work into this event, and we are really excited to open it up to local vendors again this year.

The vendors that are interested are welcome to contact Lisa directly at 708-444-4562.

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

The Andrew High School Music Parents Association is a 503c nonprofit operated exclusively to support all aspects of music programs at Andrew High.  This includes organizing a number of events throughout the year to help raise funds including a fall and spring craft show, pancake breakfast, summer golf outing and the Victor J. Andrew Marching Band Invitational.  These events provide an opportunity to showcase our wonderful school and help raise much needed funds.  We hope you will consider supporting our program by becoming a sponsor for our 4th annual Marching Band Invitational on September 15, 2018.

The Andrew Music program consists of a variety of groups including a competitive marching band, three concert bands, two jazz bands, winter percussion, winter color guard, several chorus groups, as well as fall and spring theater performances. The list of achievements for these groups includes:

  • The Marching Band is a consistent finalist at state competitions. They routinely place in their division at local invitationals and compete on a National level at Bands of America competition.
  • Wind Symphony has been invited to the Super State competition at U of I for the last two years and performed as a featured band for the prestigious Music for All national festival in 2017 and the Illinois Music Educators Conference in 2018.
  • Winter Percussion has consistently been a top performer. Over the last seven years, they have won 3 silver medals, two gold medals (2014, 2016), and a bronze medal in 2017 in the competitive open group at the WGI World Championships.
  • Winter Guard is a past WGI Regional Finalist and Semi Finalist at WGI World Championships.

We hope you will consider supporting the Andrew Music Program and take advantage of the unique opportunity to reach the numerous individuals who support us at our events throughout the year, especially the 5000+ attendees to our Marching Band Invitational.
